Cool Kids Programs

from the Oklahoma City Veterans Administration Medical Center!

Veterans History Project: 

3-5 students interview patients to develop a report or presentation to send to the Library of Congress as part of the National Salute to Veterans.

Volunteer Program:

 Students can volunteer at the hospital during the summer or year-round.

Scholarships and On-the-job training:

Ask about it!

Take Our Children to Work Day:

If your parents work at the hospital, this is for you!

VAMC 50th Anniversary Celebration, Sept. 15-19, 2003

Join us in celebrating our nation's heroes!

National Creative Arts Festival, Oct. 2003

Veterans from all over the country submit art of all kinds that will be displayed at the hospital.  The winners will be recognized in a special celebration in October!  Visitors are welcome- contact Maureen Harvey at the VAMC for more info.

National Golden Age Games, May 2005

Veterans, Age 50 and Up, will compete in various athletic events.  Come out and enjoy the fun!
