What Peer Mediators—PROS—Do:
Help the students who have a conflict talk and listen so the students who have the problem can take responsibility for solving their own problems.

1. Decrease violence and fighting
2. Reduce name-calling put downs
3. Decrease the number of suspensions

5. Enable teachers to deal more effectively with conflicts
